Comments and insights on the name Kirsie: | Edit

This name is usually very well accepted. It's unique in the sense that it is usually a once-in-a-lifetime deal if you ever get the chance to meet one.

Personal experiences with the name Kirsie: | Edit

I love my name. It's unique but not TOO unique. At first people usually try to pronounce it wrong like 'Kiersy' or 'Keersea'. From all the other Kirsies I have met, the most common pronunciation is 'Kir-Sea' It used to bother me, but once I correct them once than the people who had pronounced it wrong before never seem to get it wrong again. I get complimented on my name a lot. The only issue I can think of is the fact of the lack of nicknames that suit the name Kirsie. I usually get called either 'Kirdy' or 'Curse'. Neither bother me, but people are usually hesitant of calling me 'Curse' because they are afraid it would hurt my feeling or something, it doesn't. Overall, I recommend the name.
