Personal experiences with the name Kristie: | Edit

Kristie was my friends name in grade school and high school.

Kristie is my name, and I absolutely love it! It is very unique, and for the first 14 years of my life, I never knew another Kristie (now I do, and by some weird coincidence, she's in nearly all of my classes at school). I really don't mind when people can never spell my name the first time--it's actually rather cool to be the 'only one' with that spelling. I really do believe that of all the multitudes of spellings (Christy, Christie, Christi, Kristy, Kristi) this is the best--it's is the only one that actually looks like a name and not just a nickname (in my humble opinion, of course). Having such an awesomely one-of-a-kind name has inspired me to find an equally awesome name for my one-day daughter... ((Oh, and I was born in 1992, if anyone cares. =) ))
