Everyone spells your name wrong,no matter what..It's not EN people! Its IN!
My name is a variant of Kristin (not spelled with a K) and I suppose based on what I've read that this is just a bad name for misspellings no matter how you yourself spell it.
It's a totally different name than Kristen. There's Kristen and Kristin(ME!) on my bus and instead of being Kristin N. and Kristen A. we're Josh(me) and Teddy lolEVERYONE WILL SPELL THIS NAME WRONG NO MATTER WHAT!!!!!!!!!! if you name your daughter kristin she will constantly be embarassed and irritated by spelling errors in her name and you will have to go to the trouble of correcting it on all important documents, like her diploma, drivers license, SS card, etc. It will be mispelled in the newspaper, on programs for school productions, on the Honor Roll list. Such has been the story of my life. Also, for a popular name (i grew up with 3 kristins in my grade at school) no one can pronounce it correctly when they see it written, im called Krista, Christian, Christina, Kirsten, Kristy, Christine over loudspeakers and microphones. My high school principal, who knew me personally and was a friend of my mothers, READ IT WRONG AT MY HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION CEREMONY!!! That very important of my life was ruined by being called Christine. If you really want to name your baby Kristin, maybe try Kierstan instead.
