My daughter's name is Kyla. Kyla Danielle to be precise. We use several nicknames for her Ky, Kydee, KylaDan. But those are possible because of her middle name. She's now 11 years old and she's very creative and fun. A little naive sometimes and always friendly. I still like her name which for us was a nod to my great uncle whose nickname was also called Ky, but she gets mixed up with all the Kaylas of the world. So if you're trying to get away from that name, it won't work.

My older sister's name is Kyla. When we were little I called her LaLa because I couldn't pronounch "Kyla". It stuck though and soon our whole family was calling her it. Somehow LaLa morphed into LarLar though and then somehow Arlar which is what I call her now as a nickname :)
