Comments and insights on the name Lilibeth: | Edit

A blend of Lily and Elizabeth.

Pronunciation: lil(i)-beth, li-lee-beth

I love the name Lilibeth. You could spell it Lilybeth, or Lilybethe, or even Lileebeth. But I think that Lilibeth is the best chose. Lily could be a great nickname. This is a sweet name.

Personal experiences with the name Lilibeth: | Edit

well, My mother named me lilibeth. I like my name but their times when I wish my name was different. For example, i have to pronounce my name like five times when I meet someone. No one can pronounce my name and I wish people would call me beth but instead they call me lily and it bothers me because it's so common.

Both my Mom and Dad chose the name Lilibeth for me, so it can sound the same as my sister's, Lisette. I don't like how I also have to repeat my name to people I meet. Some people pronounce it Lil(i)beth and others say Lil(uh)beth.

So when my mom had me, my name was supposed to be lily Ivette, my dad is from Mexico and of course he had an accent so when they asked him what my name was gonna be, he said lilivette and the doctor understood lilibeth, so he wrote that down and both my mom and dad fell in love with it. Other than hating when they pronounce my name lil(uh)beth, I actually love the uniqueness of my name and I always got compliments my whole life(:

My mother's name is Lilibeth (Lil-ee-beth). It's not a common name, but it's a beautiful and unique name. She usually goes by Beth though.

I was originally named Elizabeth but it was extremely popular the year I was born, so my parents were trying to figure out a nickname for me. I had an Aunt Beth so my mom called me little beth. Over time it became LiliBeth. I love my name because it's so unique and special. I hate that people never understand my name and I have to say it like a hundred times and I also hate that people always call me lil(uh) beth or call me mary-beth. It also annoys me when nobody spells it right because they'll spell it Lilybeth or Lillybeth or Liliabeth and that's not my name. When I order food or go to Starbucks I just tell them to put it under Lili though I hate the nickname Lili because it's so common.
