Best Name Evahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Lindsey is a very nice nice name!
There are very few, if not no good nicknames for Lindsey, and people always find a way to spell and/or pronounce it wrong. I've never liked having it as my name.

I'm a Lindsey, and, as far as painfully '80s names go, it's not so bad. But it's not great either.
My name's Lindsey as well, and I like the name. I never really felt like I looked like a "Lindsey" though, as most Lindseys in movies and on TV are blonde and ditzy, as are the other Lindseys I have known in real life. I have dark hair and eyes and I'm half Spanish!
When my daughter was born 11 years ago, Lindsey was a compromise name. I wanted a more old-fashioned name, something more unique, but my husband hated all those names. I'd always liked the name Lindsey but thought it was too popular. He talked me into it by noting that there were about 15 Lindseys at our local high school that year (in a population of 1,000) and that it must be kind of past it's prime. Surely, we thought, nobody would be naming their kids Lindsey anymore and we'd be safe. Wrong! There was a baby named Lindsay born to a couple in our Lamaze class! Now our Lindseys go to school together and are good friends. It helps that the spellings are different. We also call the other girl Lindsay Jo, and my Lindsey is Lindsey Lu (even though her middle name is Marie, her grandma called her Lindsey Lu when she was a baby and it stuck). The girls say they're going to open a business called Lindsey Squared. There was another girl in their class for a couple of years with the same name, only she spelled it Lynzy.
