I believe Luciana (pronounced loo see ana) is a very popular name in South America (particularly Argentina). Luciana (pronounced loo chee ana) is the more Italian version.

My daughter's name is Luciana (soft c version). We call her Luci or Lulu, however, whenever I tell someone her full name they instantly comment on how 'pretty' they think the name is!

A friend of my family named her daughters Luciana (lucy-ahna) and Sophia. She's terrible to Sophia because she's not a child prodigy like her older sister. It sucks.
