I was searching babynamewizard and was shocked that I couldn't find any of the variants of LaNae! I know of 3 common spellings of the name: Lynae, LaNae, and Lanaye. I think they're all beautiful and would like to bring attention to them.

Personal experiences with the name Lynae: | Edit

My name is Lynae and I love it! I have never met someone with my name which makes me feel unique. I also get lots of compliments on how pretty and beautiful my name is. The only drawback is that in the United States, it is a very unusual name and its impossible to find any keychains or other items of that sort with my name on it. However, if you head over to Sweden, you may have more luck. I heard that Lynae is popular name over there!

Meanings and history of the name Lynae: | Edit

Lynae means "little blue flower." The name derives from the Linnaea borealis flower (also known as the twinflower) which grows in Sweden. The flower was named after Carolus Linnaeus, who was a famous botanist and is known as the father of modern taxonomy. The Linnaea flower was his favorite flower (obviously!):)
