Personally, I love my name and i think it suits me well as a person.
I've never had issues with my name, except that some English-speakers might have a hard time pronouncing 'Malin' because of the 'a'.
In French, 'Malin' is a word that has many meaning; some bad and some good. In addition to that, 'Malin' is a boy name in India and means 'crowned'.
I think 'Malin is a name that suits Scandinavians the most, but girls of other nationalities might suit it as well.
