Everyone asks about it, some people ask if it has anything to do with Mazzy Star, the band. Have met only one other Mazzy, though her full name wasn't Maslyn. We get a lot of positive reaction to it.

Our daughter is named Maslyn too, and we call her Mazzy as well. We named her Maslyn because it means little Thomas (or little twin) in French, which is my father's name. We love the name and it suits our little girl perfectly.

Our daughter is named Maslynn spelled with an extra n. We call her Maz. When she was born we liked the name Madison, but it seemed that everyone was naming their babies Madison. Since my husband's middle name is Lynn and he wanted her named after him, he came up with the name Maslynn. It is a perfect name for our beautiful little girl who is now 8 years old. We get a lot of questions about her name and we love telling our story.
