I fell in love with this name after reading Inkheart, which has remained one of my favorite books several years later.
My name is Meggie (its short for Margaret) but everyone calls me Meggie. My parents chose to name me after my great grandmother and nickname me after their favorite character from the Thornbirds. I like my name and the only drawback is that I have never met somebody who got it right on the first try (or the first few days)! Instead they call me Megan, Maggie, or Meg.
