When my big sister was born, my mother originally named her Meta. It is a beautiful and unique name but my mum decided that my sister was too strong-willed, firey, and spirited to be a Meta and that she was more of a Ruby, which she is.

I found pictures of my great great aunt Meta. I hadn't known about her until now, but she seemed lovely, spirited, and independent.
