Comments and insights on the name Mindy: | Edit

I have always disliked my name because I knew my parents got it from "Mork and Mindy". My entire life I have been asked "Hey, where's Mork?" (ha ha, funny every time...). People also assume that my name is short for Melinda and that it doesn't stand on its own.

Personal experiences with the name Mindy: | Edit

When I was younger people assumed my little brother's name was Mork, but now that the show isn't aired I don't get Mork comments as much. I like my name, it's fun and has a sing-song happy sound to it, which suits me. People on occasion ask what it is short for, and are fine when I reply it's simply "Mindy".
