I think this name is becoming increasingly popular. I have met two in a very short time span and my friend knows one as well. I like it and suits both people i know very well.

One of my closest friends is called Poppy and I think the name suits her perfectly as both her and the name are cute and charming. Poppy is becoming rather a popular name for there seems to be lots of people named Poppy around at the moment. Popularity of a name is not a bad thing for it proves it's a good one but if you're going for originality and being unique I would leave this name for the next generation to name their children.

A close family friends family's last name was Spark and they named there eldest daughter Talula Poppy Bright Spark, (they had two other daughters named Scarlett Buttercup Spark, and (I forget)Rose Spark.)
