Personal experiences with the name Prisca: | Edit: My name's Prisca and i don't really mind it!
It is difficult when i first tell people my name because it sometimes takes them, something like 5 tries before they say it right!
My parent's had wanted to call me Priscilla but they didn't want me to be called Cilla for short so they chose Prisca which they were sure couldn't be shortened, but now this is the one reason i don't like my name!!
When i was little my friends would call me "P" because they couldn't say my name but that's not a 'cool' nickname!!
I generally double-barrel my first and middle name because i prefer this but i wouldn't ever change it fully!
I much prefer having a name no one can prenounce straight away, rather than a name that every one has! At least it makes me sound interesting!!
