I'm Raina. I did not like my name when I was young. I was not very pretty and overweight. As I grew I accepted it. What I didn't like was everybody else could get thing with their name on it and I couldn't (stupid right?). Well I think I was about 7-8. I'm def. different (like my name); never met anyone with my name yet with same spelling. A lot of people asked what does it mean when i researched it ..it wasn't easy..books then...the sound of the name ray-na means Queenly in latin and then found the origanal spelling and meaning back in Celtic Scottish days and it meant strength....
As I grew I became a swan -- took 20 yrs,and def knew I was head mind and body strong. And I guess kinda was queenly in a way..... Now I am somewere between happy and content.So I DEF> reccomend the name but always love her ,tell her she can do anything that she wants to do and watch out when you tell her NO....she won;t understand such a thing!
