All the male riley's I've known have ruined this name for me, but i absolutely love it for a girl!

Riley is great for a girl's name. It is much more popular as a girl's name versus a boy's name. Sure, it can work for both, but it totally fits as a girl's name. What boy wants to go around with a name that people are naming their girls anyway? A large majority of the males named Lindsay or Kelly that I've met go by their middle names. Riley as a girl's name is a relatively recent phenomenon. We named our daughter Riley in the early 2000s.

I think it's a good name for both boys and girls.

My middle name is Riley, but it's spelled Ryley. I don't know why but I like the name just not for me. Anyway, I think it's good as boys name. If it wasn't my middle name I'd consider naming one of my future sons Ryley. I like it equally as a boys and girls name.
