- Comments and insights on the name Rosella: | Edit
My name is Rosella. It's hard for some people to pronounce, especially on the S (they get hung up on the S as in Snake instead of the S as in Rose). My name is old and was passed down to me; it was my Great Grandmother's middle name. Nicknames are easy, my family calls me Zella, some of my friends call me Ella, and others call me Rose--or just Rosella, but there are lots of choices. I prefer this spelling of my name over Roselle because it's phonetic, and people guess how to say it more often than not.
