I loved being asked.. What is your name? I say... Rosetta.. and everyone is like Dang! you have a beautiful name.
My first child was a girl, thankfully, and I could use the name I dreamed of naming my child all my life. My mother's mother (from Ireland) and my mother's sister were named Rosetta. Being one of the youngest grandchildren in a large family, I was sure someone would take the most beautiful name before me. Lo and behold, my mother-in-law's mother was named Rosa and my husband also had an aunt Rosetta from Italy. She loves her name... but doesn't correct her obnoxious boyfriend who has renamed her "Ro."
