Personal experiences with the name Shani: | Edit

i used to think it was weird and hated it, but then i started to look at it as being unusual and different and "not normal"!
i hate other peoples ignorance for not pronouncing it right and their rudeness when i correct them!
i get called sharni alot!

My parents named me after my mother's boss's daughter. But being my family they don't particularly like spelling things normally. I'm Sharnie, I also went to school with a Shani. I didn't particularly like it when I was younger but it is very convenient now that I don't share a name with other people. Katies and Madelines are everywhere where I live.
