i chose "shiloh" for my daughter two weeks before i had her; her dad and i happened on it by chance and loved it. people didn't seem to like the idea, i heard "what about... shila?" a lot. (um, no.) i think it's very peaceful and feminine. she's two now and i still love it.

My friend is named Chyloe (pronounced the same as Shiloh. Also named for the Neil Diamond song.
I named my cat, Shiloh, after the children's book. :)
