hi my daughter is 7 months old and her name is also called shyanna, we named her after cheyenne but thought shyanna was different as we haven't heard the name before, i love the name but living in england people dont really understand it they assume we are calling her shy anna they respond with awww thats different with a puzzled face :). we dont mind though because we know the meaning and think her name is different and has character. Does any one else experience these issues?

My name is Shyanna & i only know one other person named Shyanna (spelled the same way too.) and she's my age and we go to the same school were friends. i got my name b/c my dad saw it on a name-tag on a nurse at the hospital & thought it was really unique and he named me after her, my mom and dad were originally going to name me Cheyenne, but i like Shyanna much better! lol (=

And idk if the Shyanna Dawn that a person wrote about up there was my mom or dad but that's my name, so if my mom/dad didn't write that i have the same 1st and middle name as someone else. cool!!!
