Comments and insights on the name Tabitha: | Edit

My name is Tabitha and I love it. I hate being called Tabby though. Tabitha is not a very common name and I like it. My name is Tabitha Brooke and I think it has a nice flow.

I was named Tabitha but unfortunately I have never liked going by my full name. With the sitcom show "Bewitched" which was produced long before I was born, I was constantly asked if I was named after Samantha's daughter. With this, I became very angry with my name. So I usually tend to go by my nickname, Tabi. - paprika-studios

Tabitha is an absolutely fantastic name. The name I would have chosen for myself. One thing though - I've seen it spelled with an 'a' instead of an 'i' in the middle. "Tabatha" just looks wrong!

Personal experiences with the name Tabitha: | Edit

Whenever people hear my name is Tabitha, they are like, "Whoa, that is pretty!" It is not common so people like it.

I'm a preschool teacher and I have a little girl named Tabatha. I'm not sure why her parents chose to use the "a" instead of "i." We call her Tabby.

My mom named me after the little child witch it seems. I hate being called Dorkas, or whatever it's called. I love my name and so do the people around me. My name is odd to me since I only met about two other Tabithas so far in my 19 years of life.
