This is my name - pronounced THAYL-ya. No one ever says it right, even after I correct them or introduce myself. I've grown to appreciate it, but I really hate having a whole conversation about my name every time I meet someone. For some reason, everyone has a story to tell me about their mother's neighbor or sister's ex-girlfriend who pronounced it Talia.
