My name is Victoria and I used to love being called Vicky and now I hate it. I love being called Victoria but I can be called Tori. It is awesome to have the 29th most popular name in the USA!!
- Personal experiences with the name Victoria: | Edit
My niece's name is Victoria, but she goes by Ria. I think that is a very classy name, and such a feminine/pretty nickname.
________________________________________This is my younger sister's name but she isn't very fond of it so she goes by Tori which I think suits her better than Victoria (Tall, rather skinny, dark brown straight hair, hazel eyes)
________________________________________My Auntie's name, she never uses her full name because she lives in the state of Victoria, so she is just Vikki to everyone
________________________________________My name is Victoria, and through out school I was called Vicki for short and I HATED it! I've just always despised that nickname. My family and close friends call me Tori for short, and I like that a lot better. When the boys in my elementary school wanted to tease me, they called me Vic or Victor, but that happens with most names, and it wasn't too serious. I still love my name.
________________________________________I go by Tori. Only some of my family members call me Victoria. My friends sometimes call me Vicki to annoy me as, like the person above, i HATE it! I don't really like having such an old fashioned name but i do love being shortened to Tori!
________________________________________My name is Victoria, although I've always gone by Tori. I have never had a problem with my name. I always felt that it was unique - I was born in 1977 and didn't go to school with any other Victoria's or Tori's. Only negative is that people will occasionally call me Vicki or Vick which I absolutely abhorr. My middle name is Rosalyn which I like with Victoria. Overall a good experience.
