Baby #4 -- Boy Name Ideas/inspiration
I recently posted requesting help with choosing a girl's name for our fourth child (gender unknown). Now I'd love your thoughts on our boy list!
Our other children are:
Oliver Rand0lph (nn Olllie)
Mamie Katherine 3lise (two first names, one middle; nn Mamie or Mamie Kate)
All three are named after family members (though Mamie is more "inspired by": my sisters are Amy and Kathryn, and DH's sister's middle name is Elise).
Our boys' list is actually in better shape than our girls' list, as I think both DH and I would be happy with any of the names on it currently. They are:
Frank (this is an outlier)
Our style is mostly old names and/or British names, with a few Scandinavian names thrown in for good measure. We shy away from too-popular names. Any other names that would just be the perfect fit with our current three?
The other big issue now is the middle name. Since all the other children have at least one family name, we'd like this baby to have one as well. The problem is we've used up the good ones ;). The boys are named for their paternal great-grandfathers, so I'd like this baby to have a name from my side. The candidates: Ronald, Jerome, Clifford, Levine, Michael, and (if I go back another generation) Ludwig, Olaf, Joseph, and Lawrence. Michael is clearly the most neutral of the first set of names, but won't go with George or Magnus. Bright ideas?
