Being judged on your name

I saw an amusing commercial for Overstock.com about how people hear their name and assume that they sell overstocked items (shocking, eh?) but that they really have new stuff and all the latest trends. Since it's name-related, I looked up the commercial to share with you all, and discovered that there are actually two versions of the commercial!

Ooh, good sighting! There's another one, too, also with a different-name version (though both are totally safe for work, so I'm not sure why they went with two different names). That one seems to be more purely about the laugh-worthiness of the name(s), whereas the first one is also arguably about the second-tier issue of a bad naming tradition making one a bad dating prospect (who wants to fall in love with some guy, just to find out that he expects you to name your firstborn Matthew Bubbletummy IV?)

Huh, so it was a whole campaign! I wonder if there were other scenario pairs made. Excellent observation about the two types of "bad" names they used, too.
