Cute Girl Name Ideas

So I recently found out that I am pregnant and am trying to come up with some name ideas for a girl. My friend's name is Autumn Rose, and my sister's name is Violet Sky and I'm really wanting a cute combination like that. Any ideas much appreciated!!!

This is interesting, because a lot of people I've seen here try to avoid names that can be read as sentences. Not that there's anything wrong with naming your child Sierra Skye, to cite a cute example I've seen rejected on these forums.

I'd look into word names-- colors (Indigo, Sienna, Magenta), gems (Opal, Amethyst, Pearl), flowers (Lilac, Rose, Daisy)... plenty of pleasant choices to go with there.

Summer Breeze was the first that came to mind

 Aspen Snow

 Meadow Brooke

Willow Brooke

 April Rayne, April Dawn

Amber Lee, Rayne, Jewel, Dawn, Spring

 Winter Snow, Rayne,

 Summer Rayne, Brooke

Paris Dawn, Skye

mn Brooke, Rayne, Dove, Jewel, Pearl, Lake, Jade, Peace, Dawn, Dream, Star, Snow, Spring

Claire, Eve, Grace, Lee, Hope, Joy, Faith, Lane, Mae, Paige, Wren, Shae

Raven, Meadow, Saffron, Willow

I would suggest starting with finding a first you like, and then look for a middle to get the overall sound you are looking for.

Can you tell us something about names you like beyond your desire for a "cute combination?"  Autumn and Violet are both nature names, do you require a nature name for your combo?  Autumn feels more modern (and slightly dated) while Violet is a vintage revival.

If you prefer more modern sounding word names, I might suggest Lyric, Sonnet, Cedar, Aspen, Indigo, Dove, or Blue.

For something more traditional/vintage in style, I'd look at things like Rose, Daisy, Lily, Ruby, Iris, or June.

Going with Rose and Violet being both colors and flowers/plants, and if you want to honor those ladies further...

some of these could even be used for a boy

Sage, Basil, Mint, Moss, Fern, Forest, Ivy, Lilac, Olive, and Clover.
