Does this Sib Set match?

Hi,

We have found out that we are having a 3rd girl and our top pick is Estelle Maria, our other 2 girls are Charlotte Ann and Adelaide Rose. Do these 3 fit?

Any other suggestions would be appreciated as well, MN will be Maria, and would like to, but doesn't have to be, another royal name.

Thanks in advance!!!

I wouldn't use Estelle just because it's not my style, though I love Adelaide and Charlotte. But there's nothing wrong with the name and it doesn't seem "off" with her sisters or anything. I'll think about it and come back if I have any suggestions for an alternate.

Hey congrats! I like the names you have chosen, and they seem to fit well, but I would also like to suggest a few more names to consider. I teach 1st grade and I am seeing the name "Sythrie" more and more often and I love it! I would also like the suggest the 2 part name of "Swimson D'yeria." D'yeria is Zulu for peace and Swimson is of Polish origin meaning freedom. Good luck!

I think Estelle Maria is fine and matches well with your other girls' names, but every time I read it in my head, I say "Stella Marie" and don't know why.

Some other suggestions are: Josephine, Beatrice, Louise

Perhaps you are thinking of Stella Maris, Star of the Sea, a Marian epithet?

Stella Marie was my grandmother's name. She was indeed Catholic.

I love Estelle/Estella and I think Estelle works very well with the sibling names. They are very similar stylistically but Estelle isn't very popular (yet?) but Stella is so I think that helps it feel more familiar than it is. Other names I really like for you: Genevieve, Georgia, Josephine*, Beatrice*, Eleanor*, Elizabeth*, Evangaline, Matilda*, Vivian, Victoria*, Emma*, Emmeline. But really I think you should just go with Estelle Maria. Royal Names *

I'm not sure if Estelle is generally considered a royal name, but one of the youngest royals in Sweden is named Estelle: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_Estelle,_Duchess_of_Östergötland

I like it!

I think Estelle is a great choice.  It is from the same antique category as her sisters' names and it is still relatively uncommon.  I think other good choices for your sib set would be Hazel, Eleanor, Beatrice, Evelyn (although it is very popular), and Lydia.

I just noticed the request that the names be royal and I haven't checked to see if any of these are.  I'll do a little research and perhaps edit this reply later.

Good luck!

Eleanor, starting with Eleanor of Aquitaine, is as royal as it gets.  The recently retired queen of the Netherlands is Beatrix.

I LOVE Estelle Maria! It goes great with your daughters' names and Estelle is my favourite of all the star names (Esthee, Stella...)

I think it does, and I adore Estelle Maria.  Charlotte Ann and Adelaide Rose are lovely as well.  I understand your desire for a matching set.  Finding names to go with Atticus Michael and Malakai Solomon may be the end of me.  ;)

I think it fits with the others - what about Victoria, Elizabeth, Margaret
