- Maxi-Cosi Mico Infant Car Seat (Approximate Retail Value $200)
- Safety 1st Bundle (Approximate Retail Value $150)

You have to be a registered BabyNameWizard.com member to enter (otherwise we wouldn't have any way to contact the winner!) Registration is free.
You can read the full Official Rules here, but basically, if you are 18 or over, live in one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia you are eligible to enter. You can also read more details on The Talk and the prize package in the BNW blog.
And now, tell us: What baby name do you covet, but just can't pull the trigger on? Is it too "out there"? Too linked to a celebrity? Too hard for Americans to pronounce? What do you love about it -- and what's holding you back?

Tabatha (is it for a cat?) and Athena (too in-your-face greek goddess?) are both names that I love, but won't use. :)
I love Atticus for a boy and Persephone for a girl.
I'm not sure of a nickname for Atticus, wouldn't want Atti b/c it's to close to Addy. Couldn't use Cus. Any ideas? Also last name begins and ends in S. Atticus sounds like Atticu Sellers.
I love Peri as a nickname for Persephone. But it feels like this might be too heavy with last name Sellers. I do love Peri Sellers though.
Like someone upthread, I like the name Prairie. I like its sound and I love the prairies of Oklahoma, where I grew up. It also has a bonus Thomas Pynchon connection. But it doesn't seem serious enough.
I also have always loved Madeleine, nicknamed Lena (which I first encountered in Madeleine L'Engle's nonfiction as a teenager), but it crossed a threshold into popularity that I do not want to be a part of.
My husband has fallen for the name Oxford--it involves a historical figure and a play on words with his (the husband's) last name. I veto it as a first name on aesthetics (and the horrible nickname Ox, which would be highly inappropriate for any nerd child of ours). And I veto it as a middle because it is only 2 letters off from a family name, and I think if we were to go with that sound and feel, we should go family.
Zeal! I know my husb wouldn't go for it, but it's fun and I'm hoping our son will be full of it, so to speak;)
I love the name Khaos. Not chaos. From the research I've done Khaos was a very early Greek goddess. She is the goddess of the void between heaven and earth, who is never shown as a figure but as a starry mist.
I love the name Sterling and am strongly considering it for a boy. My husband and I are history teachers and last year, we met a Pearl Harbor survivor named Sterling and fell in love with the name.
