First Born Name Help- Boy Names

This is my first, and it's a boy.  We like either Joshua or Levi.  We like John as a middle name because it's a legacy Middle name.  We're not sure if it "goes with" either name.  Also, we've thought about throwing ot john (unfortunately) and using both names we like.  The boy will likely be blued, light brown hair, and semi tall.  Can you give us help?

Joshua John Morello

Levi John Morello

Levi Joshua Morello

Joshua Levi Morello

I'm tired of spinning my wheels.... We can't decide.

I'm not sure if I can help because these all sound good to me! just a few comments, if you're open to two middles, Joshua John Levi Morello sounds pretty good. otherwise I like Joshua John. Both give you JJ as a possible nn. Levi Joshua would be my least favourite combination, I feel the flow is better with the other 3 combinations. I think John is a fine middle with either name, particularly with family significance for you.

i like Joshua John and Joshua Levi. I too could get on board with two middle names in this case; Joshua Levi John has a nice flow.

Joshua John and Levi John both sound fine to me. Also, consider that you may have more sons and you could use Joshua or Levi (whichever don't use this time) on him, with a different middle name.

I like Joshua.

Both Josh and JJ are appealing nns with your ln.

I'm just not a fan of the name Levi. It has a, "Country," vibe for me.

Someone who likes it more will doubtless speak up on its behalf.

You don't have any, "Bad," choice, so if you resort to drawing out of a hat you won't go wrong.

I do always vote for using the family name if it's an option.

Are you pronouncing Levi lee-vie or LEH-vee?

I'm not a fan of Joshua John (don't like the sing-songiness, or the double-J) but I think any of the others sound fine. I have a slight preference for the Lee-vie pronunciation with John, and the LEH-vee pronunciation with Joshua (in either order), but it's very slight.

I like Levi John.  I love using family names for middles.  I agree that saving Joshua (or Levi if Joshua is the FN) for another son might be wise. One question: how do you feel about nicknames? Joshua John could easilybecome Josh or JJ, whereas Levi to me does not lend itself to a nickname.
