Help on finding a boy name!

My wife and I just foudout we are haveing a 3rd boy. We have a horrible time agreeing on boy names. Comeing up with our last sons name was a dreadful exsperience. Our oldest son is named Alastair, whitch aparently is the only name we can easily agree on. Our second is named Declan. We like unusual names, usually historical. Classicly unusual names. Right now I love the name Ambrose but she hated it, she likes the name Callahan but im not cracy about it.

I like a lot of Suzannembrown’s suggestions (Callum, Malcolm, Rhys). You seem to like Celtic/Gaelic names. Some other suggestions: Finnian, Clancy, Rory, Niall, Carrick, Macaulay, Keane, Brannon/Brennan, Sullivan, Broderick, Connall, Kincaid, Lennox, Ronan.

Here's an old post that discusses sibling names for an Alistair. Give the comments a read.

And this link is still good. It's a rabbit-hole of Scottish highlands names and more lists

I like Ennis. It works well with your other kids’ names. I like Asmund. It doesn’t fit as well with Alastair and Declan which are Celtic (ditto for Soren, Ambrose, Silas, Simon and Felix) but maybe that doesn’t matter to you. I think Emrys is good, although I’ve seen it mentioned on this forum before as a name that people often pronounce differently/incorrectly. I’m sort of luke warm about the other names on your list but I don’t think any of them would be bad, depending on your priorities (all 3 kids’ names “matching” stylistically or culturally, having different initials, ease of pronunciation etc.).
