Help with baby girl name

Morning ladies :)

i am expecting a little girl and dad wants to name her "Penelope Patricia". I'm not 100% sold on it but it's catchy what do you think?

Being a preschool teacher i have heard em all and I want a name that's cute yet different.

I like it! Penelope's a sweet, fun name. It's #27 so maybe not as different as you'd like, but it has a lot of cute nickname possibilities to help distinguish your Penelope from others if needed.

I think it's quite cute, it's got a kind of kids comic super-hero vibe to it. I don't love the name Penelope on it's own but it does have a lot of nickname potential which I always like. Really though I think you ought to be excited about your daughter's name so if you're not sold I'd keep looking.

I love Penelope. It is not a very uncommon name but it also has extremely varied nickname options to seek refuge in if you encounter another Penelope, so the ranking wouldn't bother me -- your daughter could be the only Nell or Poppy in the room. I especially like the pairing with Patricia, a name with a very different popularity curve.

I love the name Penelope! my brother in law has a one year old cousin named penelope but we all call her Penny :).

I think it's charming.  But Penelope is a mouthful - while nicknames are mostly avoidable these days, that does NOT apply to one with 4 syllables!  Make sure you stake out a nickname you REALLY like.  Since your partner chose this name, maybe you can choose the nickname?  I really like Ellie or Nell much more than Penny.
