I need help naming a character.

Hello!

I am currently working on creating a character, but I am stuck on names. I am creating my own "Disney Fairytale", so this is set in a fantasy world. There isn't a specific time period, as with most disney movies, although it the characters ride horses and wear ballgowns and such. My character is  very smart and witty, and she is a natural leader, although she sometimes comes off as being bossy, or too assertive. Her personality is similar to that of Annabeth Chase, from the percy jackson series, or Hermnione Granger, from the Harry Potter series. She is also very elegant and dignified.

I like very romantic, elegant names, not unisex names, but there are some exceptions. I also don't really want any names that are already prominant characters such as Hermione, or Elsa, or any common names like Emma or Olivia. Some names that I like are

Ariadne

Arwen

Astrid

Calypso

Elowen

Elsa (I like this name, but I would not use it due it being the name of the character from Frozen)

Lizette

Odette

Thanks in advance!

Ariadne and Lizette sounds elegant to me while Astrid and Calypso have a spunky, hero feel. Arwen is a Lord of the Rings character so you probably don't want that.

Ariadne and Astrid sound like they could fit your desciption (the other names you listed don't stand out to me).

What about Ottella or Odelia? Another name that is spunky and super feminine is Greta. I'm not sure if thats what you're going for or not.

Seraphina is a strong, romantic, heroic female name, imo.

From your list, I think Elowen best fits your needs.  Arwen and Odette are both iconic characters (I'd say that they exceed Elsa in this if only because they have been around for much, much longer).

I would also add Ida, Greta, Corinne, Maeve, and Rosalie to your list.
