Holly, Sarah, Sadie, Nora, Audrey, Maggie, Molly, Caroline, Geneveive
Love: Audrey (big fan of Audrey Hepburn), Holly (I don't know why but I love it), Maggie (One of those classics I love. I wish Margaret was more used. I feel like I know a thousand Megans but no Margarets. Shame.)
Like: Nora (I usually loathe names ending with -ora, but Nora's a standard.), Sadie (It's a bit of a dog's name to me, but it's cute), Genevieve (I don't love it, but it has a pretty sound.)
Lose: Caroline (never been a fan), Molly (I'd like it more if it weren't for the drug), Sarah (solid, but pretty pedestrian).
Next List: Audrey, Holly, Maggie, Nora, Sadie, Genevieve, Louisa, Dana, and Jennie
Love: Genevieve (I adore French names), Nora (antique and sweet), and Sadie (so adorable and classic). Like: Louisa (so sophisticated but a bit stuffy), Audrey (I don't love it, but I think it's beautiful), Maggie (a little too cutesy for my taste) Lose: Holly, Dana, Jennie (they're fine, but they sound a little old to me. New List: Genevieve, Nora, Sadie, Louisa, Audrey, Maggie, Amelie, Paisley, Giovanna
Genevieve, Nora, Sadie, Louisa, Audrey, Maggie, Amelie, Paisley, Giovanna

Nora, Amelie, Genevieve, Sadie, Audrey, Paisley, Adele, Alana, Nova
Love: Adele, Nora, Amelie
Like: Genevieve, Sadie, Alana
Lose: Audrey, Paisley, Nova
New List: Adele, Nora, Amelie, Genevieve, Sadie, Alana, Jemima, Agatha, Lillian
Love: Agatha (always been a guilty pleasure name because I love Agatha Christie), Lillian (way too popular and I'd never give it to a kid, but it's a pretty name), Alana (really underused. I really like this one.)
Like: Sadie (still see it as mostly a dog's name, but still cute), Nora (still okay), Adele (getting too associated with the singer.)
Lose: Genevieve (kind of regretting letting this one slide the first time, the more I think about it I really hate this name), Amelie (Too associated with the movie for me. Don't get me wrong, it's a good movie, but it's made me forever associate the name with strange behavior), Jemima (too outdated even for me).
New List: Agatha, Lillian, Alana, Sadie, Nora, Adele, Helene, Meg (on its own, not short for Megan or Margaret), Cali (not short for Callista).
Love: Adele, Meg, Helene

Like: Maisie, Nora, Elisabeth
Lose: Seraphina, Leonie, Zelie
New List: Charlotte, Colette, Skye, Maisie, Nora, Elisabeth, Helen, Annie, Isla
Love: Charlotte, Elisabeth, Helen
Like: Annie, Skye, Nora
Lose: Isla, Colette, Maisie
New List: Charlotte, Elisabeth, Helen, Annie, Skye, Nora, Lydia, Clare, Caileigh
Love: Helen (A beautiful classic - heck, it means beauty!), Annie (Such a cute classic name. It's fun and yet stylish.) Lydia (Gorgeous name, but a little too popular for me.)
Like: Elisabeth (Don't love the spelling with the S because it cuts off the "Liz" nicknames and no one uses "Lisa" as short for "Elisabeth", but it's a nice name.) Charlotte (I'd love it but it's too popular.) Clare (I like the spelling "Claire" better, but this is fine.)
Lose: Caileigh (Ugh. If I could make one name illegal, it would be the 5000 spellings of Caylee.) Nora (Is this name still here? I guess this is kind of a standard name.) Skye (A little too hippieish. Not terrible, but not my style.)
New List: Helen, Annie, Lydia, Elisabeth, Charlotte, Clare, Candace, Ivy, Ireland
Love: Lydia, Ivy, Charlotte (despite its insane popularity)
Like: Annie, Clare (although prefer Claire), Elisabeth
Lose: Helen, Candace, Ireland
New List: Lydia, Ivy, Annie, Elisabeth, Charlotte, Clare, Josephine, Harriet, Victoria
Love: Ivy, Josephine, Clare. Like: Harriet, Annie, Charlotte. Lose: Lydia, Elisabeth, Victoria. New List: Ivy, Josephine, Clare, Harriet, Annie, Charlotte, Cadence, Destiny, Melodie
Ivy, Josephine, Clare, Harriet, Annie, Charlotte, Cadence, Destiny, Melodie
Love: Josephine (Always loved this one, but I'm not fond of the nicknames Jo and Joey.), Annie (still love it.), Ivy (getting too common and I'm usually not a fan of 3 letter 2 syllable names, but Ivy's a classic.)
Like: Destiny (if it wasn't connected to Miley Cyrus, it would be one of my all time favorite names. Glad she doesn't go by this though.), Melodie (don't love the -ie spelling, but it's cute.), Harriet (a little stuffy, but cute.)
Lose: Cadence (too wierd of a word name to me. It'd be like naming your kid Rhythm - a cool word but that just doesn't sound like a name.), Clare (not a huge fan of this spelling - just looks incomplete. Claire is beautiful though.), Charlotte (beautiful, but way too darn common.)
New List: Josephine, Annie, Ivy, Destiny, Melodie, Harriet, Celine, Eliza, Katya
Love: Josephine, Eliza, & Ivy
Like: Annie, Harriet, Melodie
Lose: Katya, Celine, Destiny
New List: Josephine, Eliza, Ivy, Annie, Harriet, Melodie, Georgina, Eden, Clarisse
Love: Ivy (it's always been a favorite of mine, and when I have children, it'll be either a first or a middle name for a girl!) Eden (I absolutely adore this name! I know someone named Idun who was an exchange student from Norway) Eliza (Another favorite, I know a few Elizas)
Like: Harriet (I personally find this name quite adorable, but probably wouldn't use it as a first name) Melodie (I think it looks better spelled Melody, but that's just my opinion) Annie (I don't particularly like this name, as I tend to lean more toward unique, never been in the top 1000 names, but it is kind of cute)
Lose: Josephine (I've never really been a fan of this name, and although it's more feminine, I almost always think 'Joseph') Georgina (I like 'Georgia' more for some reason) Clarisse (For whatever reason, this name reminds me of more masculine names like 'Maurice' and Clarence')
New List: Ivy, Eden, Eliza, Harriet, Melodie, Annie, Ever, Athena, Xoe
Love: Annie (still love this), Athena (as far as unusual names go, this one's pretty cool. Athena's a badass goddess and a cool role model for a little girl.), Harriet (a little stuffy, but a pretty name that's due for a comeback)
Like: Ivy (pretty, but way too common.) Eliza (I used to like this more, but Hamilton kind of ruined it for me.), Eden (just kind of a strange name to me, but not terrible.)
Lose: Ever (What an awful name, for a boy or a girl. It makes me think of phrases like ever-present or ever and again. Get used to playground teasing - "Here comes Ever-present danger!" It means "continuous". I hate Everly too.) Xoe (I know this is a legitimate spelling of Zoe that wasn't invented by trendy 21st century parents, but it still looks pretty silly.), Melodie (the -ie spelling just looks strange. Plus spell-check will probably auto-correct it on her.)
New List: Annie, Athena, Harriet, Ivy, Eliza, Eden, Dahlia, Francesca, Dakota,
Love: Athena, Ivy, Dahlia
Like: Eden, Eliza, Annie
Lose: Harriet, Francesca, Dakota
New List: Athena, Ivy, Dahlia, Eden, Eliza, Annie, Danica, Thea, Corinne
Love: Eden (yes, one of my very favorite names!), Corinne (a gorgeous underused name), and Ivy (so simple and sweet)
Like: Danica (but can never use because of Danica Patrick), Eliza (but more as a nn for Elizabeth) and Thea (I like it as short for Alethea, but by itself is nice too)
Lose:Annie, Athena, Dahlia
New list: Eden, Corrine, Ivy, Danica, Eliza, Thea, Gemma, Magdalena, Esme
Love: Gemma (Although for some reason, I think this name's very British.), Thea (getting overused, but it's definitely cute.), Danica (It's a cool name, definitely more exciting than Danielle/Daniella).
Like: Eliza (It's too overused and I still hate Hamilton, so I'd never use it, but it's pretty), Magdalena (It's a little bit of a mouthful, but it's pretty), Corrine (it's much prettier on paper than when said - it kind of sounds like "Corn", at least in my accent.)
Lose: Esme (Such a pretentious name, and it doesn't look pretty or sound pretty.), Ivy (This name needs to go away now. Every other baby girl is Ivy.), Eden (I don't know, I don't love this one. It's still better than the awful, awful, Aiden,)
New List: Gemma, Thea, Danica, Eliza, Magdalena, Corrine, Arielle, Beatrix, Emilia
Love: Gemma (big favorite!), Arielle, and Emilia
Like: Beatrix, Magdalena, and Eliza
Lose: Danica, Thea, and Corrine
New List: Gemma, Arielle, Emilia, Beatrix, Magdalena, Eliza, Jessamine, Vivica, and Gwendolyn
Love: Gemma, Gwendolyn, & Eliza
Like: Emilia, Thea, & Magdalena
Lose: Arielle (I just hear Little Mermaid, which isn't the worst association), Vivica (a little dated?), & Jessamine (too much of a place name for me)
New List: Gemma, Gwendolyn, Eliza, Emilia, Thea, Magdalena, Fern, Thora, and Penelope
(Thea got lost in the round before and Beatrix got forgotten)
Love: Magdalena (This name is really growing on me), Beatrix (I think this is much more fun than stuffy old Beatrice), Fern (I think that this name's due for a revival. Maybe this could be a replacement for Ivy?)
Like: Emilia (It's a pretty alternative to Amelia and Emily, but it's almost certain to ger mispelled.), Gwendolyn (I used to like this more, but then I met a Gwendolyn that was really mean), Penelope (definitely a name I never thought I'd see make a come back. I used to think this was the queen of the stuffy old lady names.)
Lose: Eliza (D*** you Hamilton. I used to like this name.) Gemma (Way too posh British), Thora (too similar to thorn)
New List: Magdalena, Beatrix, Fern, Emilia, Gwendolyn, Penelope, Elodie, Reece, Waverly
Love: Reece (but I don't like the spelling), Gwendolyn, Elodie
Like: Waverly, Magdalena, Beatrix (I really like this one, it's just kind of our there)
Lose: Fern (I don't think it should come back, not my thing at all), Penelope (it's OK, just no good nn), Emilia
New List: Reece, Gwendolyn, Elodie, Waverly, Magdalena, Beatrix, Lilian, Charis, Helena
Love: Reece, Helena, Beatrix
Like: Waverly, Lilian, Gwendolyn
Lose: Elodie, Charis, Magdalena
New List: Reece, Helena, Beatrix, Waverly, Lilian, Gwendolyn, Hazel, Rosalie, Olive
Love: Rosalie, Beatrix, Lilian
Like: Hazel, Waverly, Olive
Lose: Gwendolyn, Reece, Helena
New List: Rosalie, Beatrix, Lilian, Hazel, Waverly, Olive, Kenna, Maren, Alba
Love: Hazel, Maren, Rosalie
Like: Olive, Lilian, Kenna
Lose: Beatrix, Waverly, Alba
New list: Carys, Juliet, Merritt, Margo, Corrine, Josie, Eliza, Arden, Gemma
Can't do a whole new list, that's not how it works. Of your new ones, I'll add Josie, Juliet, and Margo. I think we should also make it a rule not to add back names that have been lost, although we'll allow similar names (I mean, we've already had Helen, Helene, and Helena). Names from the example post are up for grabs.
Love: Josie (This is the only derivative of Josephine I like. Jo and Joey are to masculine. This is cute though.) Rosalie (It's a fun, more substantial take on Rose. I like it.), Juliet (Don't love the tragic Shakespeare connection, but it's much better than Julia)
Like: Hazel (it's a little too popular and it makes me think of The Fault in Our Stars, but it's pretty.), Kenna (weirdly, I loathe McKenna, but I think Kenna's really cute.), Margo (It's a pretty version of Margaret, it's fine.)
Lose: Maren (don't like that it rhymes with barren.) Lilian (Don't love the spelling with one L), Olive (I like it better than Olivia, but I still don't like it.)
New List: Josie, Rosalie, Juliet, Hazel, Kenna, Margo, Juniper, Yasmina, Serenity
Love: Josie (one of my favorites), Juliet (love Shakespeare!), Hazel
Like: Margo (about as much as Margaret), Kenna (not really one I like, but better than others on this list), Rosalie (very cute)
Lose: Serenity, Yasmina, Juniper (none are my taste)
New List: Josie, Juliet, Hazel, Margo, Kenna, Rosalie, Lia, Neva, Ellison
Sorry if I repeat any, it's hard to remember everything that's been done...
Love: Margo, Rosalie, Josie
Like: Juliet, Lia, Hazel
Lose: Kenna, Neva, Ellison
New List: Margo, Rosalie, Josie, Juliet, Lia, Hazel, Hope, Missy, Jamie
Love: Lia, Juliet, Margo
Like: Hazel, Jamie, Josie
Lose:Hope, Missy, Rosalie
New List: Lia, Juliet, Margo, Hazel, Jamie, Josie, Natalie, Isobel, Faye
Lia, Juliet, Margo, Hazel, Jamie, Josie, Natalie, Isobel, Faye
Love: Juliet, Margo, & Hazel
Like: Lia, Isobel, & Faye
Lose: Jamie, Josie, & Natalie
New List: Juliet, Margo, Hazel, Lia, Isobel, Faye, Cassandra, Marigold, Diana
Juliet, Margo, Hazel, Lia, Isobel, Faye, Cassandra, Marigold, Diana
Love: Juliet (one of the prettiest names going, in my opinion), Hazel (always a fan of non-floral botanicals), Isobel (this is my favourite spelling)
Like: Margo, Marigold (I likeit, but think it would be a hard name to have), Diana (love the mythological element, can't stand the princess)
Lose: Lia (yawn), Faye (yawn), Cassandra (too flouncy)
New List: Juliet, Hazel, Isobel, Margo, Marigold, Diana, Elowen, Octavia, Brynn
I replied to the list before but you got it out before I pressed publish. To keep order, I'll reply to your list -
Juliet, Hazel, Isobel, Margo, Marigold, Diana, Elowen, Octavia, Brynn
Love: Isobel (I like this way better than Isabel and particularly Isabelle and Isabella, but I don't think I can use it because I'm not Spanish though.), Diana (I'm more into this one for the mythological connection than the Princess Di connection though.), Octavia (pretty but really pretentious)
Like: Margo (It's just okay. I'm not huge into names that end in -O though.) Juliet (I'm surprised Shakespeare doesn't turn people off from this name. Yes Romeo and Juliet is a great play, but she dies at the end! You're naming your kid after a character best known for being dumb and impulsive and then killing herself! You don't hear too many Cordelias or Desdemonas running around and I think that's because the tragic Shakespeare connection comes to mind first.) Brynn (sounds a little similar to Brian, and it doesn't really feel like a full name)
Lose: Elowen (I LOATHE hardcore Welsh/Cornish/Irish/Scottish names. They just sound so pretentious and special snowflakey. And they sound way too High Fantasy.) Hazel (it had the same problem as Eliza with me: I used to like it, but then something I really didn't like came along and used it.), Marigold (Not huge into weird flower names. I guess it's not terrible though.)
My original reply to the post two above also had -
Love: Faye (I hate that this beautiful name has been degraded to a stock middle name (a lot of beautiful one-syllable names are sadly like this like Joan and Rose and Jean.)),
Like: Cassandra (I feel like I know a lot of Cassandras and none of them are too nice. Shame, because it's a pretty name.)
Lose: Lia (I really don't like this spelling, but I like Leah a lot.)
New List: Octavia, Isobel, Diana, Margo, Juliet, Brynn, Sasha, Annika, Della
Love: Diana (so sweet), Della (however, I feel like it needs a formal name), Annika (a great change to Ann)
Like: Margo, Juliet, Octavia
Lose: Brynn ( I can't see an adult named Brynn), Isobel (sadly all the Isabellas have ruined this name for me), Sasha (not my style)
New List: Diana, Della, Annika, Margo, Juliet, Octavia, Winona, Kathleen, Grayson
Love: Annika, Margo, Juliet
Like: Della, Kathleen, Octavia
Lose:Winona, Diana, Grayson
New List: Annika, Margo, Juliet, Della, Kathleen, Octavia, Gwen, Imogen, Bellamy
Love: Gwen, Juliet (I wouldn't use because of Shakespeare, but I can't help but love the name. Same for Ophelia.), Margo
Like: Della, Bellamy, Imogen
Lose: Annika, Kathleen, Octavia
New List: Gwen, Juliet, Margo, Della, Bellamy, Imogen, Janelle, Bridget, Sara
Love: Imogen (A long time fave of mine but I can't put my finger on why), Bridget (a classic, and as far as names with a lot of hard consonants in it it's beautiful), Janelle (a spunky, fun take on Janet/Janice)
Like: Gwen (I actually like Gwen better than Gwenyth and especially Gwendolyn), Sara (I'm not sure if I like this spelling or Sarah better.), Della (honestly thought this would've gotten lost sooner, not really a fan of this. Kind of think it looks like an old lady who lives on a farm's name.)
Lose: Bellamy (Something that should stay a last name. This sounds awful. Maybe Amy-Belle would be a better option?), Margo (Mar-go away now. I must say I like Margaret better. Margo sounds like a nickname.), Juliet (Not a huge fan of any of the Julia based names, or super Shakespearean names.)
New List: Imogen, Bridget, Janelle, Gwen, Sara, Della, Grace, Karissa, Lissa
Love: Gwen, Karissa, Bridget
Like: Janelle, Sara, Grace
Lose: Imogen, Della, Lissa
New List: Gwen, Karissa, Bridget, Janelle, Sara, Grace, Verity, Xena, Joan
Love: Grace, Janelle, Karissa
Like: Bridget, Sara (but I like the h), Joan
Lose: Verity, Gwen, Xena
New List: Grace, Janelle, Karissa, Joan, Bridget, Sara, Susanna, Faith, Cleo
LOVE: Cleo, Grace, Joan
LIKE: Faith, Sara,Bridget
LOSE: Janelle, Karissa, Susanna
New list: Cleo, Grace, Joan, Faith, Sara, Bridget, Eleanor, Freya, Phoebe
Love: Joan, Bridget, Eleanor
Like: Grace, Phoebe, Sara
Lose: Cleo, Faith, Freya
New List: Joan, Bridget, Eleanor, Grace, Phoebe, Sara, Danielle, Charity, Kate
Joan, Bridget, Eleanor, Grace, Phoebe, Sara, Danielle, Charity, Kate
This is a tough one, because I really like all of these! Don't take the Lose names as a slam against them.
Love: Joan (Another poor beautiful name that has become demoted and degraded as a stock middle name. I also like this better than Jean and Jane, and I even like those too!) Charity (Kind of a guilty pleasure name, but I'd say it's my favorite of the virtue names.), Bridget (Always been a fave.)
Like: Danielle (One that's been growing on me lately. I like it much better than Daniella.) Kate (Don't love it not as a nickname for Katherine, but I like it as a nickname quite a lot. I like this spelling infinitely better than Cate too.), Phoebe (Used to be one of my all time favorite names, but my love of it has been cooling lately. Still like it a lot though.)
Lose: Sara (I guess I like the spelling with the -H a little better, but I do like this spelling a lot.), Eleanor (Getting a little too popular right now, and I'm not a huge fan of Ellie, and I like the Elinor spelling better. But I do like Eleanor though.) Grace (A little boring, and I feel like every Grace I've met has been kind of jerk-ish.)
New List: Joan, Charity, Bridget, Danielle, Phoebe, Kate, Felicia, Heidi, Lauren
Love: Phoebe, Kate, Bridget
Like: Danielle, Felicia, Lauren
Lose: Charity. Joan, Heidi
New List: Phoebe, Kate, Bridget, Danielle, Felician, Lauren, Willow, Delaney, Isla
Phoebe, Kate, Bridget, Danielle, Felician, Lauren, Willow, Delaney, Isla
Love: Bridget (this is a name I would use, if it didn't sound ridiculously similar to my surname), Isla (way too popular now but I can see why it took off), Willow (still a big fan of the non-floral botanicals :-) )
Like: Lauren (I prefer Laurel, but definitely like Lauren better than Laura), Kate (not really a fan, but I can see the pared-back appeal) Danielle (there were loads in my high school so I have Danielle fatigue, but it's a pleasant enough name).
Lose: Phoebe (this has to be one of my least-favourite names on the planet. It sounds like feeble and I hate the Friends reference), Felicien, Delaney (sounds all surname to me).
New list: Bridget, Isla, Willow, Lauren, Kate, Danielle, Daphne, Anna, Ottilie
Love: Bridget (I'm really surprised this has gotten so many likes. I thought that it was a guilty pleasure name of mine because everyone else thought it was too old, had too many consonants in it and was kind of a mean name. Glad it's getting so much positive feedback. I might actually use it someday.) Danielle (again, this is really growing on me. It almost seems fresh again after the thousands of Daniellas I'm seeing.), Daphne (A kind of guilty pleasure name, probably thanks to Scooby Doo, but I really love this one.)
Like: Willow (Don't love the Buffy connection, and it's getting overused, but it's pretty.) Kate (Nothing wrong with it, just nothing special about it either. I like it more than Katie, but oddly less than Kathy, which I've always loved for some reason.), Anna (Anna was the big name at my high school. Every class had either an Anna or a Megan in it, without exception, so I'm really burnt out on it. Pretty though.)
Lose: Isla (I, unlike the previous poster, don't really see the appeal. Doesn't it mean island? No man is an island! And I want to pronounce it Iss-la so badly. Plus I met a baby once named Isla Isabel. WHY?!? Did they not write that down on paper? Whose initials are I.I.? That's basically the same name twice!) Lauren (A little too overused. I'm not huge into this family of names: Laura's a little stuffy (but it's probably my favorite), Lauren's too overused, and Laurel doesn't really roll off the tounge well.) Ottile (Looks like the names Odette and Odille got into a nasty car wreck.)
New List: Bridget, Danielle, Daphne, Willow, Kate, Anna, Blair, Carmen, Kelly
Love: Bridget, Daphne, Blair
Like: Kate, Anna, Carmen
Lose: Danielle, Willow, Kelly
New List: Bridget, Daphne, Blair, Kate, Anna, Carmen, Ainsley, Piper, Rose
Love: Rose, Kate, Anna
Like: Bridget, Carmen, Daphne
Lose: Piper, Ainsley, Blair
New list: Rose, Kate, Anna, Bridget, Carmen, Daphne, June, Viola, Madeline
(I find this game way more fun when people give reasons. It's really interesting to know how and why people react to names as they do).
Rose, Kate, Anna, Bridget, Carmen, Daphne, June, Viola, Madeline
Love: June (could any name be more summery, more simple, and more evocative of an earthy movie star), Bridget (for reasons given above), Daphne (substantial but airy, botanical, classical, great namesake in the novelist)
Like: Rose (fresh, simple, pretty, too often relegated to the middle spot), Viola (I love the Shakespearean character and that it is musical and floral, but I'm always confused about where to put the word stress), Madeline (this name was heavily overused among my younger sisters' cohorts, but I love the clunky Frenchness of it, could live without Maddy though).
Lose: Carmen (makes me think of a histrionic flamenco dancer), Anna (nothing against it, but very popular where I live) Kate (I find this name boring).
New list: June, Bridget, Daphne, Rose, Viola, Madeline, Susanna, Thomasina, Naomi
