I like weston best, i get a little tongue tied with asher and porter. its the er ending
I also vote for Weston, with Thomas as a second choice.
Graham Asher runs together a bit, making it sound like Graham-masher
Graham Porter Burke is OK, but the repeating R sounds in Porter & Burke sound a little slurry to my ear.
Graham Weston & Graham Thomas are both very good, though I slightly prefer Graham Thomas.
I like Graham Thomas best:)
The double R sound in either Asher or Porter + your LN is harsh to my ears (otherwise Graham Asher would have been my #1).
I like both of your other choices. Graham Weston has more of a cowboy feel, while Graham Thomas sounds more classic.
There is not a bad choice in the bunch though! Good luck!
I prefer Thomas by quite a bit.
Asher feels like a bit of a style mismatch, and while the others are distinguished, I like the straightforward boyish charm of Thomas.
I think Weston and Porter with Graham is too much English/preppy for me, though I hasten to add that I do like them very much, and I think Graham is terrific.
Graham Weston or Graham AshTon over asher
While I think that they are all great names, based on sound alone I much prefer Thomas over all the others.
Although the full FN MN LN combo probably wouldn't be said too often, I agree that the -er Burke is awkward to say.
I put Weston second because I find that the near rhyme of gray-UM wes-TUN to be not as pleasing as the totally different sounds that Thomas brings. (Now, if you say GRAM and not GRAY-um then I push Weston up as a tie with Thomas.)
Thank you for all your thoughts and opinions. I guess I should have clarified, we live in the US, so Graham is pronounced like "Gram". It's nice to hear opinions other than my three-year-old daughter's! :)
I love Westin in there; it is strong and distinct and sounds great all together!
Graham is one of my favorites--glad you're using it! For middles, I like Thomas the best, both in general, and in combination with Graham ____ Burke. It gives the whole name a very classic and handsome appeal, while the others all slant the whole thing more trendy/time stamped than Thomas in my opinion. It's not that I dislike the other names--for instance, I think any of them would make a great middle for a classic like Thomas, and I like Asher enough to use it as a first name. But Graham Thomas is just excellent.
