This is hilarious, because I work so hard to have unusual yet wonderful (to me) names. My daughter is Emogen (a variant of their number 1 name, Imogen). My son is Jasper (one of their top 10 names for boys). My other children are on their too, one with the first, one with the middle name.

I'm so original, just like everybody else. :/

You have to keep in mind that Nameberry's list is badly mistitled: these are the most popular _searches_ for names, not the most popular names. The more obscure a name, the more likely people are to search for it on a site like Nameberry -- usually because they encountered it somewhere, and want to find out more information about it, not because they plan to use it.
