Are you set on using another C or an R name for a girl or boy respectively? I personally would advise against this tbh. I feel ike it puts limits your name choices and possibly forces you to choose a name you don't love as much as perhaps another name that doesn't "fit." I can't say I am a fan of Cassilyn as it is very made up. I like Cassidy- maybe that is a compromise? Or perhaps Callista, Cadence, Cameron? I would honestly try expanding outside of your C name list if you aren't finding any you love or agree on. It is far more important to like the name- this is a permanent choice. As someone else has mentioned here before, your kids are only part of the sibling "set" for so many years; they grow up and go out into the real world where people don't know that they are the only one without a C name and still have to live with the name you give them. Just something to think about.

I very much agree with the idea of looking at names with other initials.  My first thought as I started to read the post was "so they need something that starts with anything other than Car-."  Two similar names don't make an unbreakable pattern.  And you've already broken it with Rowan anyway!  Choose a name you both love, not one that matches the first two girls.

I not set on having it be the same intitals just wanting something that flows well with the rest. Both of the girls being CE wasn’t really planned to match it just happened to be the names that were liked and they fit.

Carrera uses Cara as her nickname. I just want something that isn’t overly used.

your husband is picky, but is he coming up with any names himself, or just vetoing yours?

I'm not a big fan of Cassilyn...other ideas:

Cassidy

Kaia

Remy

Chantal

Cadence

Caydene

Eliana

I really like Kaia with your other girls' names.

My thoughts For a girl: Laurelai

For a boy: Preston, Samson, Wesson, Wesley, or Callen
