REALLY picky and need help!

Hi, all!

Looking for help with naming baby #2, a girl - sibling to Cecilia Josephine.

Our parameters are:

- First name cannot start with C or E, and it cannot end A -- want something that sounds VERY different from Cecilia

- Neither first or middle name can end with the letter L - it will sound weird with our last name

- Don't love "Y" endings (Amy, Emily, etc.)

- Really DO love pretty, traditional names - Vivienne, Adrienne, Elizabeth, Catherine, etc.

Current list includes:

- Adrienne

- Vivienne

- Margot/Margaux

- Helene

- Violet

- Juliette

- Nora

- Clara

Your daughter's name is gorgeous!

For some reason, I've always thought that Cecily/Cecilia should have a sibling Beatrice.

For middle names, I always recommend something with significance to you. You could go with another J name for a subtle little theme/connection between the siblings (Julianna, Johanna, Juniper), for example.

Firstly, congrats- I love your daughter's name and all of your contenders. Are there any front-runners or are these names you have considered but aren't in love with??

All of your names are on my list as well, so maybe you will be interested in a few others that I also like:

Fiona, Genevieve, Iris, Francesca, Marion, Diana, Alice

Of the names, you listed I think Vivienne goes best Cecilia (unique but not too far out there). Violet would be my second choice (though it is on the trendy side). Juliette my third (though a little on the frilly side). I do think Viviene Juliette sound nice together if you want to stick with J middle names as another poster suggested. Between the too middle names you listed, I prefer Nora. It makes think of Nora Ephran or Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist, which is you like Rom-Coms are both positive associations.

Other names that you could consider Gwendolyn, Lorelai, Penelope, Maureen, Margaret (Maggie is a very cute nickname), Miriam, Odette or Cosette (since you seem to like the ette ending). Hope this helps. Good luck!
