Shortlist Trying To Narrow To 1 Boy 1 Girl...

So the girl names I always loved are out for one reason or another:

Caroline (his sister beat me to it)

Jacqueline (he thinks its fallen too far downmarket)

Isobel (too popular)

Emily Grace (we both like alot, but it's peaking now)

Theodore (re teddy roosevelt & kennedy, he said this was "too obvious"!)

Names we both like:

Eleanor Brooke "Ellie" "Elsie" (we ec have an Eleanor namesake)

Beatrix Madeline "Bee", "Maddy"

Margaret Louisa "Margo" "Maisie" "Daisy" "Greta"

James Alexander  "Sacha" (always wanted a boy I coudl call Sacha, James is hub's 1st (unused) family name)

Sebastian John "Seb" "Jack" (We  ec have a Sebastian namesake)

George Andrew "Bunny" (my fave, prince george & Andrew hub's middle name he goes by)

I think Jacqueline is very pretty. If I had to choose one from each list, I'd choose Margaret Louisa and James Alexander.

Do you want to use family names?

These would be my choices also, but my son is Alex@nder J@mes, and I've always loved the name Margaret.

These are my choices as well. James was my #1 boys name FOREVER, but I could not get my husband to agree to it as a first name, so it's my son's middle name. =)

For the girls I prefer Beatrix.  I'm not a fan of Margaret but I love Margo.  I like James Alexander for a boy and George Andrew next.  Our friends just had a Theodore two months ago. He started off as Teddy and now he is a Theo. I think both nicknames are really adorable.

I love Beatrix!  But Madeline is a bit over-used.  Beatrix Louisa?

Sebastian John is great.  Sebastian is a name everyone knows without being too common.  I've also heard people use Bash as a nickname, which is pretty darn adorable for a toddler.
