Twin Girls Names!!!

Hello! I’m Maisie and I’m expecting twin girls on Febuary 13th! I already have a five year old called Ben and I’m really looking forward to having two more additions to our family! I’m a single ma by choice and have raised Ben on my own and am going to raise the girls on my own as well. I live in Brooklyn, New York but grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. I’m looking for a modern and sleek pair of names that sort of reflect my Nashville roots. I want a pair of names that goes well togeather but doesn’t sound to cheesy. I know this is quite a specific set of preferences but I do already have some suggestions. I am really open to EVERYTHING your have to offer. Be it brand new names that go together or you r favourite names out of the ones I’ve given. I also have on more little thing that you could maybe use?! We will be moving to Paris in March next year. (I know it’s a bit all over the place with having twins and moving across the world a year later but I was offered  transfer before I realised I was pregnant and I’ve always wanted to live abroad and I think it will be really good for the kids). So if you have any names that won’t sound to out of place in France!

Thank you so much and all advice is welcome!

Thank you for this advice. At this point I think I’m pretty much settled on Isabelle Carris and Abigail Noelle (I know it’s changed, but i really like the name Noelle?) I just got a bit worried because I have no idea what the trends are over there. But these have really helped quench any fears or Doubs I had. I’m probably going to be off here for the next few days because I’m scheduled to have them in a week. But I’ll definatky keep you updated on their names and the upcoming move. You have been really brilliant and helpful and great and hope you like the current top name choices.

Wishing you all the best.  Is Noelle a family name.  I think if Isabelle has a family middle name,  Abigail should have a family middle name too

all gorgeous names, congrats! if you were looking for names that would be able to flow through to french easily, i would suggest avoid more western sounding names like mackenzie and abigail. you could use other names that are similar to the ones you listed but are more frence such as

elodie, cosette, colette, maya, adele and elena

i would suggest looking up popular french girls names and seeing if any have a connection with your background in nashville xoxo

Hi y’all! So just though I’d catch you up, the twins are now four days old after I had them via scheduled c-section on the 24th! It was a quick and easy and they are the most beautiful girls in the world! Like, honestly they have been doing really well, Ben took them well (I said they had given him a tricycle and you car to soften the lack of attention!) and the doctors have been like so incredible! My family loves them and Im doing good. Anywho, the names are Isabelle Carris and Abigail Greta (after my brilliant best friend) all your advice has been absolutely INCREDIBLE and I could not have reached the descion I have without y’all. I love the names so much but would not have thought to use Carris or Greta as names to honour people without you. So thank you so much!!!!! I’ll keep you updated and help with others naming problems once I’m fully up and running! Paris next!
