Brody is a common Jewish surname. The spelling Brodie is more characteristically Scotties.

This is such a cute name for little boys! It bothered me, though, that they have a girl's name Brody on here. I mean really? Don't they usually wait for the name to reach its masculine peak before people give them to their daughter?

I agree fully, but to be fair, there's a lot of names in the girls' section that should be strictly boys' names and vice versa. I'm still adamant about the name Avery being a boys' only name because it's my son's name.

it's my youngest son's name, named this because he had a twin in the womb for a short time with him, and i found a definition of the name to mean "brother" in welsh...

Brody is my husband's name and I love it. It is very fitting for him. He was a stellar athlete in school and still is. He is a definant looker too. (I am not bias at all, SERIOUSLY) Women always stare at my husband!
