My son is Chayton Thomas. We wanted a name that was unique, yet sounded traditional. My husband has a Native American background, so we searched web sites for Native American names and thought this one was perfect! We call him Chay or Chaybe, but the best nickname came from the nurse at the hospital when he was born -- Pochayter!

My 4 year old nephew is Chayton Joshton. He has 2 brothers (Jaumes & Joarden) and everyone thinks all of there names are adorable, Theres a lot of nicknames he can use and its just a great name. Its barely ever misspelled or mispronounced.

My son is Chaiton. I saw Chayton on another website while looking up Native American names when pregnant with him and loved it, but like the spelling we chose. We pronounce it: Chate-un w/emphasis on Chait. We have never met another person with the name but have heard of ones with it.
