I'm shocked to see that Gregor has never been a popular name. It has a lovely ring of yesteryears to my ears, while staying youthful enough when shortened to Greg. I was close friends with a Gregor in my teenage years and the name always seemed just the right age for him. Actually, now that I think about it the idea of calling him Greg never even occurred to me at the time, he always went by Gregor and it always seemed right for him, and like a great, unique name! I guess it's that it always seemed familiar at the same time, that's why it's surprising to me that it isn't more popular or never had a real "hay-day" on the charts.
