The pillar in front of Solomon's Temple named after Jachin (1 Kings 7:15, 1 Kings 7:21; 2 Kings 11:14; 23:3). Also one of Simeon's sons was named Jakin (Exodus 6:15).

My Bible dictionary denotes the meaning of Jachin in hebrew as "He (God) will establish".

Josh Wilson's song "Before The Morning" was dedicated to a family's struggle when their son (Jayken David Beal) was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. He was born January 11, 2002, and has had multiple surgeries to repair his heart. He will eventually have to undergo a transplant when he is 18. Jayken David means "Victory through grace for God's beloved."
