Comments and insights on the name Jared: | Edit

I LOVE my name and I am most certainly NOT a Mormon. I am complemented on it all the time. I do find that I must annunciate VERY clearly when introducing my self as many people HEAR Jerry and I immediately correct them. The only playground taunt kids could come up with was "Jar-Head" which actually is a US Marine so that is not so bad.

Personal experiences with the name Jared: | Edit

Because Jared is both a Biblical and Book of Mormon name, and has popular naming elements, Jared is a popular choice among Latter-day Saints families who want a "Mormon" name for their son that is not too out of the mainstream.
