My name is Keary and throughout my life I have had to explain to people how to pronounce it. Almost everyone I meet pronounces it "Carrie". But after they learn the real pronunciation I usually get complements on my unique name. I have never met anyone with this name spelled or pronounced the same way. I have researched it online and found it is a boys name which made me kinda mad at my parents for a moment since I am a girl. But as I did further research it turns out most people's opinion of the name think it more appropriate for a girl which made me feel better. I think the name is unisex. Anyway one fun fact about my name is that my parents came up with the idea in the first place from watching the movie "The Beastmaster" after the slave-princess in it. I havent seen the movie though.
