My son likes to be called "Ray" or "Razor" and doesn't seem to mind the two nicknames thrown together (Razor-Ray). Raini/Rainy and Rain are also nicknames for the name 'Rainen'.

Meanings and history of the name Rainen: | Edit

The name means 'joyous singer' or 'great entertainer'. I believe the name is spanish (Raynon), I changed the spelling but kept the meaning. His twins' name is Devin which means 'gifted poet' (when spelled with the feminine 'in' instead of 'on') Devon means 'dark and handsome'.
