When I had my first child, this was the only boy's name my husband and I could agree on. We like it because it's rather unique and has a nice ring when you say it. Other people seem to have a hard time pronouncing it, though. (Rah-ZEE-ehl)

its sad i dont no anyone called Raziel. My husband called our youngest son Raziel and im so embarresed everytime someone asks "whats his name" and im like Raziel. they always ask wow say that again, how do you spell that, what does that mean. no-one knows how to prenounce his name. and im scared when he reaches school, he will probabley be teased, Razza mataz. i wish this was a more understandable name.
