My daughter's name is Tanner Katherine. Once people meet her, they realize that it fits perfectly. A 10 year old surfer girl, with long blonde hair, big blue eyes, and lots of energy. She has never been a princess-type. Never met another girl with the name Tanner, one of the many reasons I like it.
You'd be surprised to know there's another girl Tanner out there! My niece is Tanner Dawn and is almost exactly what the above poster described but in teenaged form!
